SearchWith 0.3 Released

SearchWith 0.3 has been released and is now available for download over at Mozilla's Addons site: http://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/2194

Development of this version focused on the Advanced Search dialog which can be accessed by SHIFT+Clicking on one of the SearchWith menu options or clicking any option when no text has been selected/highlighted on the current page.

The Advanced Search now includes:
  • The Edit Selected Text dialog is now called Advanced Search
  • SHIFT+Click to access it as before
  • Lists engines of the same Search Service (e.g. News). Address Bar lists uncategorized engines. All Services lists all engines.
  • Allows selecting multiple engines to search concurrently. Click Select All or hold down CTRL key and select the engines to search with.
  • When you only select one engine, it becomes the default engine.
Other new features in this release include:
  • Double click engine in any list of engines to edit it
  • CTRL+Click to add quotes to the search query
  • Easily add engines to a selected service by clicking More Engines ...
  • Added Video and News search engines
A lot of thanks go to MatrixIsAllOver and all the BabelZilla translators for their localization efforts, to Stuart Halliday, NikO, Thomas Reuter, Kirk Brocas, Eric Vastag, Kenny Silverman, Rio Wong, aMer and Stephen Hallow for the wonderful feedback and testing and to everyone who has used and promoted SearchWith.

Soyapi,

I absolutely love the SearchWith Firefox Extension. It is hands down the most handy extension that I have. Have you been contacted with some of the issues with version 0.3?

I'm unable to add any new engines.
